The 2020 Hunan Auto Show
As the current COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control work is at a critical stage, it is not worth the time to hold major demonstration activities where all types of people will meet.
But China continued with the “The 2020 Hunan Auto Show”, which opened on April 30 on the Hunan International Convention & Exhibition Center, in the city of Changsha in south-central China, and will continue until May 5. The 2020 Hunan Auto Show looks like the first major exhibition to be relaunched in China and has shot in blue with a full return of trademarks nationally and internationally.
Hunan International Convention & Exhibition Center Hotel Changsha is a vacation destination for five extensive garden gardens, connects with Hunan Broadcasting Center, Window World and Undersea World, and is located on the No319 National Highway, from Huanghua Airport in just 20 minutes, -15.
To qualify for the exhibition, attendees had to submit an ID and obtain a valid health and identity check before arriving at the venue.
Organizers have made it clear that they are adhering to the strict requirements for prevention and control of the epidemic, with all staff, volunteers, car sales staff and site inspectors.
All participants in the show forced to wear masks throughout and urged to wash their hands regularly.
The application code of the National Government Affairs Service and WeChat simplify the registration process.
The app contains the Epidemic Health Information Code, and, after verifying the name and making a personal health declaration, visitors had to complete a few more steps on the homepage to be approved by the passcode.
The organizers asked guests to apply for a health code in advance so that final screening procedures and safety procedures could have done quickly and efficiently.
Zheng Jianxin, Deputy Secretary of the Changsha Party Committee and Acting Mayor were present at the opening of the show, and Chinese media reported that the exchange expected to be over 4 billion yuan.
More than 100 types of vehicles and 600 vehicles have involved in the exhibition in addition to the 60,000sqm area.
Hunan Auto Show organized by a committee consisting of the Automobile Manufacturers Association of China, the Association of Automotive Manufacturers of China, the Automotive Dealers Association, International Trade and Industry Association, Hunan Department of Commerce, the Municipal Government of Chad; The Chasha Municipal Office and Exhibition Office, and the Changsha Municipal Commerce Office, among others.
As a low-risk city, Changsha has led the proceedings of the conference and demonstration work, and Chinese news analysts predict the show will provide ‘double victories’ in the prevention and control of the epidemic, on the one hand, and economic and social development on the other.
Chinese authorities appear to be filling the country’s media, undoubtedly worrying that the show is well overdue before taking any bold steps.
The Hunan Auto Show is one of the city’s top 10 marketing projects to be held in 2020 and coincides with the May Day holiday. This means that the show is an excellent platform for selling cars and should promote consumption. The Changsha government said it would invest 30m yuan in car loan subsidies, with people able to apply for a 1,000 yuan subsidy for buying cars, subject to conditions.
The show is also heading into ‘Consumable Spring Season’ in Changsha, a comprehensive campaign to promote sales and social media marketing.
The Hunan Auto Show is not only an exhibition for car dealers to introduce new products but also a car festival and nine major awards are up for grabs before the event draws to a close on 5 May.
